Dwarf Dwarves are a hearty bunch. With their ancestral homes in the hills and mountains, and their never-ceasing drive to mine precious gems and metals, and to forge said metals, they are a constructive, practical race, given to hearty ale and laughter. Dwarves were originally created by Phaestus, the Smith, but he lacked the power to give them the greatest gift of all: free will. He sacrificed his own freedom by striking a bargain to serve Proteus (now Sarapis), then leader of the Gods, forever in exchange for the gift of free will for the dwarves.
A Dwarves base statistics are:
- Strength 13
- Dexterity 9
- Intelligence 12
- Constitution 15
Dwarves:
- Have a racial language, Dwarven.
- Have a level 1 resistance to cutting damage.
- Have a level 1 resistance to blunt damage.
- Have a level 1 resistance to magical damage.
- Have a level 2 resistance to poison damage.
- Have a level 1 resistance to fire.
- Have a level 1 resistance to cold.
- Have slower balance, level 1.
